Fruit 2.O Essentials Water Review & Giveaway (Ends 5/10)

Ever since my boys figured out how much fun it was to push the button on our water dispenser and flood the kitchen, I stopped drinking water as much as I used to.  Now we have had to put away the water dispenser and tap water just isn’t as cold.  We do have a water pitcher but sometimes I just want flavor like juice or soda.  (I know I have a lot of excuses for not drinking water!)  So when I heard there was a fortified water beverage that not only has 0 Calories, 0 Carbs, and 0 grams of Sugar, but also tastes yummy, I was excited.

Fruit2O Essentials basically covers the 80% of Americans that do not drink the recommend eight glasses of water per day and the 77% of Americans who do not eat the recommend servings of fruit a day.  Yes this refreshing beverage contains several nutrients found in two servings of fruit, with no sugar added!

Flavors and Nutrition:

Cranberry Raspberry – An excellent source of Manganese and good source of Zinc, Vitamin E, Phosphorus and Potassium.

Strawberry Kiwi – An excellent source of Manganese and a good source of Vitamin E, Phosphorus and Vitamin B6.

Peach Mango – An excellent source of Vitamin E and Vitamin B6 and a good source of Manganese, Phosphorus and Vitamin B5.

Citrus – An excellent source of Potassium, Phosphorus, Vitamin B5 and Vitamin B6.

Blueberry Pomegranate – An excellent source of Manganese and a good source of Vitamin E, Phosphorus, Potassium and Vitamin B6.

Cherry Acai – An excellent source of Manganese, Phosphorus, Vitamin B5 and Vitamin B6.

HYDRATION

  • Sip Wisely – Drink a few servings of water before your normal morning beverages (coffee, juice..) to prevent overloading your system with sugar and added calories.
  • Hydrate before and after – Dehydration can lead to poor mental and physical perfomracnce, so drin plenty of low-calorie fluids throughout the day.

FITNESS

  • Sweat once a day – Join your kids in a 20-minute game of tag, do push ups and squats during commerical, tkae the stairs, or anything else to get your endorphins going.
  • Stretch – Practice 30 minutes of yoga at least twice a week.  It is great for strentgh and flexiblily.
  • Stay motivated – Leave yourself encouraging notes.

NUTRITION

  • Food is your body’s fuel – If you ahve to choose regular, premium or super premium fuel for your body, which grade would you choose?  Your body thrives on fresh, clean foods and lots of water.
  • Plan your portions – As you pack your kid’s lunch, plan out your meals and snacks too, including fruits, vegetable, protein and carbs in every meal.

MY THOUGHTS:

Okay so yes Fruit2O Essentials contains no juice and is still water, but the flavoring in them definitely make the water yummy!  I can’t even pick a favorite because I love them all, okay probably Peach Mango since I love Mangos.  Anyways, I love that I am not only drinking more water than normal, but also getting some key nutrients and essentials.  I have even reached for one of these over my usual can of coke for lunch.  I would definitely recommend checking out Fruit2O Essentials if you are in a water slump yet still want to make sure you are getting enough water in your diet.  The flavors taste great, there are 0 calories, and they are reasonably priced!  I would love to know though how it is 0 calories and still has a taste!  (Why can’t all food and drinks be like that?)

Fruit2O Essentials is a great substitute for high calorie and sugary beverages, especially for moms on the go.  I will warn you they are addicting and even my boys love them, so I have had to share.  I am slowly trying to eat better and exercise and Fruit2O Essentials are just one way for to cut back on soda and stay hydrated!
