Novica is a website that strives to gives artist and artisans around the world a platform for them to showcase and sell their designs.  The items are handmade, unique, hard-to-find and bold.  It features items that before Novica were sold at local markets where now are being shipped all over the world!  Novica is also associated with National Geographic, which shows that they are worldly.

MY THOUGHTS:

I got the chance to review a few items from Novica and it was so hard to choose!  I spent days scrolling through, marking favorites, and narrowing it down.  Since I love Necklaces, I decided on the Garnet heart Locket necklace ‘Secret Love.’  It is a sterling silver necklace that opens up like a locket and has a beautiful garnet stone on it.  To finish it off, it is on a natural silk necklace.  It came in a beautiful box all packaged and ready to be gifted, although I haven’t decided yet if I am going to keep it for myself or give it as a gift to my sister.

The other item I picked is going to be a Christmas present for my other sister, who just moved into her first apartment.  It is an Incense set called ‘Spirit.’  When I had my own apartment I used to love incense and this set comes with 60 sticks and a handcrafted holder so I think it will last awhile!  This also came beautifully gift wrapped, but I had to peek inside and smell it, which it smells nice!

Now I will say that Novica items are a little more than I would normally pay, but they are also more unique than my normal purchases.  Although I did get both of those items for $75, which is not bad considering one of those items was a piece of jewelry.  They are items that can’t be found around here in local stores and I trust the craftsmanship.
