My husband and I are still relatively young, but that doesn’t mean I don’t watch what we eat. I think it is important especially to make little substitutions wherever you can using low-fat, light, or just different seasonings. Mrs. Dash is one of my favorite low-sodium substitutions because it gives my meals the flavor and aroma, without all the extra sodium. Mrs. Dash Salt-Free Seasoning Blends are available in 15 flavors right now and are perfect for everything from seafood to salads. They also contain no MSG and an all-natural blend of 14 natural herbs and spices. I like to use Mrs. Dash on my vegetables, meat, and salads currently, but the possibilities are endless as there are so many varieties to choose from! Some of the varieties are Extra Spicy, Italian Medley, Lemon Pepper, Tomato Basil Garlic, and Southwest Chipotle. Each seasoning blend has a recommendation on it and you can visit the Mrs. Dash website for lots of delicious recipes using each of the blends.. (You can even find the nutrition facts, ingredient listing and cooking tips.)
Here is one of my favorite recipes that uses the Mrs. Dash Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend and it is a very quick and easy recipe. I also want to add that one bottle of seasonings go a long way and for the under $3 a bottle cost, I can make a lot of meals with one seasoning blend!

MY THOUGHTS:
Okay so I am not one to follow recipes, I am usually boring and make what I know, but this recipe is awesome! I would have never combined those ingredients on my own, and looking at them it sounds weird, but the chicken came out so delicious and juicy! Even my picky eater sons love it and we will definitely be added this to our favorites! I also want to say that I am not an apricot or honey fan, and I love this recipe! The chicken has a subtle sweet flavor and it is a perfect dish for anytime of the year! I like to add some rice and green beans, but any sides will do!

We did not want to grill but rather wanted a slow simmer chicken dish to assure tenderness. I browned the chicken in the skillet and doubled th recipes and then added about 1-1.5 cups of no salt added chicken broth and slow simmered for about 75 minutes. It resulted in a tender flavorful chicken dish with floraful juices to pour over the chicken.≠≠≠
Had the new taco seasoning for the first time tonight and thought it was great. All though I like it it may be a little to warm for the younger children. It would be great if you had a seasoning for them. Now I'm about to put on a pot roast using your seasoning.
