MY THOUGHTS:

My 2 year old still puts everything in his month and I admit with our hectic schedules and running around, I forget to make them brush their teeth. It is not that they don’t like it, but it is just such an ordeal to corale my boys into the bathroom to brush their teeth. I also worry about the cleanliness of their toothbrushes as they like to use them all over the house to clean! Then there is the worry that they are not brushing as good as they should and they just suck the toothpaste right off the brush.

Spiffies has made life a lot easier over here for me. I can keep them downstairs in a drawer and before we go up to bed for pajamas I open a pre-package wipe and clean their teeth. They love the flavor and when I am done I let them do it. It is more sanitary for us and it just goes smoother and quicker. Now when my boys were little brushing their teeth was tough, as there was no toothpaste suitable for ages 3 months and up, so Spiffies is great that it can be used on a child that small and what a little treat for them as the child gets to taste the flavor off the Spiffies.

Overall, I would definitely recommend Spiffies for any child (3 and under) who needs that extra help and cavity fighting solution and can get it from Spiffies. They are also great to take on the go as you just throw them away, so now more dragging along a toothbrush and toothpaste for your child. Spiffies is a great way in general to teach kids the importance of keeping their teeth clean and since they look like a wet wipe, I explained that I am wiping their teeth clean, just like I do with their bottoms! I also think it is time I focus as a parent on my children’s mouths just like I care for their hands, faces, and bottoms – the fact that tooth decay is the most common chronic disease of children definitely scared me too!  Spiffies would also make a great Baby Shower gift as new moms need all the help they can get!
