Wisk + Protein Stain (Grass) = Magic!

Ever since I had children, I have seen more stains than I could count and many I didn’t even know what they were from!  I had no clue there were different types of stains but there are actually hundreds of different stains that fall into three major stain groups:

  • Carbohydrates such as milk chocolate
  • Proteins such as grass
  • Oils such as peanut butter

The new Wisk with Stain Spectrum Technology is a new way to tackle stains on a molecular level for a powerful clean.  Not only does it come in a new red-hot bottle so it really stands out, but it has a more powerful formula.

Well Wisk has sent me a Stain kit to perform a Lab experiment on a Protein Stain!

I received a Protein-Stained Swatch, Dropping Pipette, Plastic Beaker, Goggles, Lab Coat, Bottle of Wisk Laundry Detergent.

I was skeptical when I saw the protein-stained swatch (grass stained) but with just dropping some Wisk detergent on it, the spots started to disappear.  Then after I swished it around in a beaker of hot water, the swatch really cleaned up.  Now all that happened in a manner of minutes, I can only imagine how clean the swatch would become if it went through the wash cycle on one of my son’s shirts!  I love that I no longer have to throw away shorts or pants with grass stains – which I have had to do a few times this summer!

Here is a video (not the greatest as I had to hold the camera and help!)

Overall, I had so much fun performing this experiment with my son.  Luckily he doesn’t understand how powerful Wisk is in stain fighting or he would probably try to test that out by getting covered in stains!  It was pretty amazing to watch the stain start to disappear just by dropping the detergent on it, before I even put it in the water.  I didn’t even scrub the detergent in, just dropped it.  Oh and the smell was very pleasant and fresh!

BUY IT: The new Wish with Stain Spectrum Technology in the red-hot bottle will be able in August at major retailers nationwide, such as Walmart, Target and Kroger for a suggested retail price of $5.99 for a 50 fl. Oz. bottle that cleans 32 loads.
