Will This Ketchup Stain Come Out?

With football season in full swing, comes tailgating and barbecuing.  Now we don’t get to tailgate because of our little ones, but we do get together with the neighbors to watch the games and we grill out.  Somehow one of us also ends up with a stain, and usually its ketchup from falling off our hamburgers or hot dogs.

Ketchup is one stain that really seems to stick and I admit to throwing clothes away rather than trying to deal with it because after washing a few items I noticed the stains just turn a light pink and are still there.

I have mentioned before that I am a Wisk blogger and that there is a new Wisk with Stain Spectrum Technology.  Not that it really matters but stains are broken down into a few basic groups such as proteins, carbohydrates, and oils.  A carbohydrate stain includes fudge brownies, BBQ sauce, honey mustard and the ever popular ketchup.

To test out a carbohydrate stain with the new Wish detergent, I had my son paint a white t-shirt with some ketchup!  He did a good job and I was happy I didn’t have to pay for the shirt!   So my task was to get ketchup on the shirt, dab off the excess ketchup, scrub the stain with some Wisk detergent, let it sit for five minutes, and then wash it with some water.  When I saw the huge ketchup spot on the shirt, I thought no way was I going to be able to get the stain out but I figured I would humor Wisk and finish the experiment.

Low and behold when the five minutes was up, I was hand washed the shirt with some warm water and the stain came out!  It was seriously like magic!  Now I know when stains happen you are not always able to immediately wash stains out, but with the new Wisk Stain Spectrum Technology there is hope.  The Stain Spectrum Technology penetrates stains and brings them up to the surface so they wash right off.

BUY IT: The new Wish with Stain Spectrum Technology in the red-hot bottle will be able in August at major retailers nationwide, such as Walmart, Target and Kroger for a suggested retail price of $5.99 for a 50 fl. Oz. bottle that cleans 32 loads.
