{Holiday Gift Guide} Ruth’s Brownie Kitchen Review (& Giveway Ends 11/30)

Sponsored by Tomoson.com

ABOUT:

Ruth’s Brownie (and Cookie & Biscotti) Kitchen is committed to baking the world’s highest quality and best-tasting chocolate gourmet brownies, biscotti, cookies and cakes available anywhere in the world.  It is a small, artisanal bakery located in the Hudson Valley region of New York States that specializes in baking handcrafted Gourmet Cookies, Biscotti and Valrhona Chocolate Cake-Style and Fudge Brownies.  The company was named after Grandmother Ruth which is also whose recipes are used.  Each and every brownie, biscotti, cookie or cake is made to order one batch at a time – no mass production methods, nothing frozen, nothing “day old.”  The very finest ingredients are also used – world’s finest chocolates to farm fresh, natural or organic butter, eggs, flour and other ingredients available. Baked goods are also shipping same day they are baked.

MY THOUGHTS:

I receive a half-dozen of the Extra Fudgy Caramel Swirl Brownies, and I am drooling just thinking about them.  I was worried that receiving brownies through a delivery truck would be hard, crumbled, or just not good, but the Ruth’s Kitchen brownies were awesome!  They are first off very thick and a decent size each brownie is 3” x3” and weighs nearly 5 ounces.)  They tasted better than the brownies I make at home too!  They lasted a few days in our house before we ate them all, and they stayed fresh.  We did however microwave them to get that gooey warm taste and with milk it was like heaven!

I also absolutely love the pink box they came in as if I was sending these treats as a gift it would be a very pleasant surprise.  From homemade baked goods to the special touch of nice packaging really shows that they care at Ruth’s Brownie Kitchen.  I will say the prices are a little high, but the quality is high also!  A half-dozen brownies is about $20 with a dozen being $37 plus shipping.  Overall, I was very pleased with my brownies and am already thinking what I want to try next!
