MY THOUGHTS:

I love that Sesame Street has come out with this product.  With technology being the way it is I am surprised more companies haven’t come up with something like this.  Using the Sesame Street Video USB drive is so easy – Open it up, plug it in, and click “Play Program.”  There is nothing you have to install or set-up, just plug it into your USB drive and click Play!  Now fortunately we have extra USB slots on the front of our kid’s PC so Aidan was able to do this himself while I explained what to do.  I do wish the video turned on right away, but it is simple enough to show him how to click Play with the mouse or he could even visit the Sesame Street website.  We clicked the video and it automatically went to Full-Screen mode easily.

Now I do want to add that the video won’t play on a Mac unless you have Windows (Bootcamp) installed, which is a bummer since my laptop is a Mac without Windows.  We luckily have a PC for the kids to play with and this works nice because Aidan can go down to the basement put this in and watch him by himself whenever he wants, it really is that easy.  I really love though that it is waterproof, dustproof, and drop proof so basically it is kid-proof!  Oh and the fact that your child cannot accidently delete anything on the USB is awesome too!  I haven’t used this as a regular USB drive yet (this part will work on a Mac just fine) but love that it can store 400 photos or MP3 songs, as well as documents.  So now I can store my files on here and carry Cookie Monster around with me so if we are at grandma’s house Aidan can watch his videos on her computer!  There are also no limits – watch the videos as much as you want!  No DVD to carry around or get scratched, this USB drive is pretty indestructible!
