MY THOUGHTS:

I got the chance to customize a kit with three models inside.  First, you choose up to three models to include ranging from a Motorcycle to Jet to Forklift to Dragster.  There are eight choices to select from and each model specifies the number of pieces it includes and displays a picture.  After you choose your models, you customize the kit with your child’s name which is displayed on the box.  It is super easy to do and it packages everything in a nice box for your child.  I love that I was able though to get  a few different models and didn’t have to stick with one style – I got the Race Car, Dragster, and Forklift. Since the sets were so big (a total of 256 pieces), my kit was split into two boxes.  You can also choose the box design, I chose a Christmas pattern.

My sons are in love with this kit and its pieces.  They have been on a building spree for a few days now and I think what really is fun for them is that they have never played with pieces like this before.  They are used to blocks and these pieces are all different sizes and colors.  As far as them building the models go, they are not too good at that yet but the illustrated instructions definitely help and my son likes to get the pieces for my husband to build it for him.  These toys also bring me back to a similar toy I had a child and loved!  The pieces also snap in pretty tight so the toys you build don’t fall apart!  My sons think building with these is fun and silly and keep asking for them!
