So for a present for my husband and I, I bought us a 32 inch flat screen LCD tv for our workout room. We have a nice room set up with our Total Gym and Treadmill but we don’t use it because we are staring at a blank wall. It is so boring and small in there since it is in the basement. So I bought the tv, now do you think I remembered a tv stand or HDMI cable? Nope! We now have this tv that we can’t hook up and even if we could we have no where to put it! My husband wants to mount it on the wall but I am undecided since there are so many nice tv stands out there.
For now I think we will use an old tv stand we had in storage until after the holidays and we can re-evaluate our budget. I can see the benefit of both ways and I want to make sure we buy something we like since we have a tendency to change our minds after awhile! It is also hard to shop for a traditional tv stand because now there are so many styles and colors available. A wall mount would be unseen so it wouldn’t matter what it looks like, but then I would also worry about it falling off! I am not thinking about a tv stand anymore until after the holidays!
Though I will post a few nice ones I came across (although after looking at these, it makes me what to replace a tv stand I have upstairs!):

I really like the first one. If only it wasnt for a corner. I am having a hard time finding on myself. We have ours sitting on an old table we are not using until I can find one. Its tough. Good luck.
