Wearing Perfume?

I am a busy mom who barely gets a shower let alone puts on makeup.  I do try to sneak away for a few minutes to freshen up and I admit to putting on cartoons to keep my kids busy!  I do take a shower every day, but I have learned to wash my hair every other day by using a dry shampoo spray that I love.  I probably put my contacts in once a week or so, mainly if we are going somewhere different or special.  I still struggle with putting my contacts in so since it takes me awhile to put them in I usually stick with my glasses.  I also put eyeliner on every time I leave the house; it is a must for me.

One thing I rarely use is perfume.  It is not that I don’t like perfume but I found when my first son was a newborn it irritate him so I stopped wearing it.  Now I don’t even think about putting it on, even when it is just my husband and I going out.  One brand I never heard of is Angel perfume by Thierry Mugler.  There are so many I have never tried or smelled, and maybe sometime I will start wearing it again.  Until then I look at it like I am saving money by not buying it!

Do you have a favorite brand?

  • My absolute favorite perfume is Philosophys "Falling in Love" scent!
It smells a bit like Cotton Candy, but it doesn't smell like a "kiddy" perfume. I found it about 2 years ago, and had NO clue that Philosophy was such a big brand. I enjoy wearing it and it lasts a long time!
I also love Victoris Secrets Sexy Little Things "Oh La La" scent, a new favorite of mine that Hubby loves too!

  • I love perfume, I have about 15-20 different perfumes. My favorite is J Lo Still. Also Mariah Carey's Lucious Pink. I can't wear perfume to work because some people are sensitive to smells I guess. But I stock up at Target when they have their's on clearance 50-75 percent off.

  • I have a lot of perfumes but I never wear them; I suppose my favorite is Angel (or something like that) from Victoria's Secret; it smells a bit like Obsession. I live in an area where there seem to be a lot of people who are allergic to perfumes, so a lot of places (like the gym) have a no-perfume policy. Plus, it seems like when you do go out somewhere for an evening, half the people wear too much perfume and then you end up in a swirling cloud of clashing scents. Ick.
