What Will You Gain When You Lose?
Larger-Than-Life Scale to Project Personal Gains in Union Station
What:
For many women, the start of the New Year can herald daunting thoughts of weight loss. A new Special K® brand marketing campaign encourages women to rethink their resolutions and imagine what they will gain when they achieve weight-management goals in the New Year, rather than focus on numbers on the scale.
Rather than a number, the larger-than-life scale will provide an inspirational word or phrase that encompasses the emotional benefit of achieving a goal. Will it be new-found confidence, courage, sass, or pride in themselves and their accomplishments? People will also be able to interact with the campaign on SpecialK.com and at the Special K® brand Facebook page. Attendees will also receive coupon books, samples of Special K® cereal and snacks and t-shirts while supplies last.
Why: Resolutions most often focus on weight management, and the sacrifice that comes with that goal. This year, the Special K® brand wants women to focus not on what they have to lose, but rather what they have to gain. Self-confidence, pride, a more balanced life; Special K® wants to know what you want to gain this year.
