ABOUT:
Dirt Devil products have been around since 1984, initially started out as the Dirt Devil Hand Vac (which has grown to become the company’s signature product and the largest selling hand-held corded vacuum cleaner in the United States.) Since its debut, more than 23 million Dirt Devil Hand Vacs have been sold and so other Dirt Devil products were born! There are uprights, hand vacs, stick vacuums, canister vacs and a carpet shampooer, all sold through major retailers nationwide.
MY THOUGHTS:
I have a two-story house plus a basement, and let me tell you how much I hate lugging the vacuum up and down the stairs from room to room. As a mom, I probably should vacuum everyday, but I just don’t have the time. When I heard about Dirt Devil’s Easy Lite Cyclonic Quick Vac I was excited because not only is it lightweight (9 lbs.) but it is also not bulky. I can easily store it by my kitchen and have it ready in seconds.
Maneuvering around your home and up staircases is easy with this lightweight vacuum. Automatic height adjustment and conveniently stored onboard tools aide in multiple surfaces with hard to reach places. The bagless design with cyclonic filtration allow for added dirt separation.
Features:
So after opening the box for the Easy Lite Cyclonic Quick Vac, I was pleased to find it mostly assembled. I just had to pop in the handle and tighten a screw, then snap on the two attachment tools (love that they actually stay and don’t fall off so I loose them!) The vac is pretty narrow but still very powerful. I couldn’t believe how lightweight it is though, I can easily carry this vacuum all over and it is also easy to push. The vacuum sucks up dirt with no problem and is easy to maneuver around. I was a little disappointed that the wand has a small reach but I do like that it comes with a wand! Many smaller vacuums like this one don’t have a wand so then I have to go back with my hand vac, while it is not a long wand it does the job and even has two tools you can attach!
Overall, I was very pleased with the Dirt Devil Easy Lite Cyclonic Quick Vac. I have used it on hardwood floors, tile, and carpeting. We do have thick carpeting which I did have to go over a few times where it was really dirty, but overall the vacuum did the job. I think it would be a perfect vacuum for single people or couples, smaller families would be good too. The canister is not too big so the bigger the area you are cleaning the more you will have to empty it, but all you do is click a button while holding it over the garbage and it drops right in. I have not had any problems with it clogging or it not picking something up. For under $50, this vacuum is a great deal and does its job!

Where is the adjustment for switching from carpet to wood floors.
Just got one an hour ago, from Target. We had just cleaned our carpets with a rug shampooer. The Dirt devil was full after cleaning a 6 by 6 space. This is an awsome vacuum.
totally jealous. our 'nice' vacuum just died!
