Simple Green Household Cleaners Review (& Giveaway Ends 3/9)

Simple Green is a company that has been around more than 30 years and is dedicated to developing “quality, environmentally safe, cleaning products.”  Initially sold to automotive and industrial customers, Simple Green perfected their biodegradable, non-toxic, non-flammable, and non-abrasive formula.  Now the Simple Green family includes consumer and industrial product lines sold all over the world.

MY THOUGHTS:

I have used Simple Green products for a while now starting with the Original Simple Green All-Purpose cleaner and then the Simple Green Naturals line.   So I was excited to try out more of their products!

I received three 16 oz. spray bottles of our Simple Green Household cleaning products including our Simple Green Stainless Steel 1-step Cleaner/Polish, Simple Green Stone Cleaner, and Simple Green Stone Polish.  They are amazing formulas created for cleaning high-end kitchen and bath surfaces like stainless steel, brass, granite, Corian, Silverstone, marble and many other surfaces found in modern homes.  All are ready to use and all are, of course, non-toxic and biodegradable.

Simple Green Stone Cleaner

• Solution: Ready-To-Use

Simple Green Stainless Steel Cleaner & Polish

• Safety & Environmental Info: Non-Toxic, biodegradable, no petroleum, zero VOCs, non-abrasive, non-flammable
• Indicated Use: Easy and safe cleaning of stainless steel and chrome surfaces
• Advantages: Versatile concentrate lasts far longer than other ready-to-use brands

What I love about Simple Green cleaners is first off that they are non-toxic, so there are not ttoxic fumes or residue left behind.  The Simple Green Stone Cleaner worked great on my granite countertops, and worked the first time.  I have tried other stone cleaners and they require a few sprays before my counters really look clean.  I am also going to have my husband clean our fireplace stone with it as we have never found a proper cleaner for that.  For regular cleanings I just use the Stone Cleaner but when we are having a party of company, I like to use the Stone Polish to really make the counters shine!  I can’t believe how shiny and love that it helps resist fingerprints and smudges.  The Stone Polish also conditions the surface to restore and maintain luster, with no streaks or greasy film.  I actually tried to smudge the counter and I couldn’t!  (After awhile it will of course smudge but initially it leaves your surfaces looking like new!

Finally, I cleaned up our kitchen with the Simple Green Stainless Steel One-Step Cleaner & Polish.  We have a stainless steel dishwasher, fridge, and oven that constantly look dirty.  Other Stainless Steel cleaners leave a white, filmy residue behind and are hard to polish, but the Simple Green cleaner worked great.  I love that it is also a two-in-one of a Cleaner & Polish, as I don’t have to use two separate products.  As you spray it on, it wipes of so easily and even conditions your surfaces to resist fingerprints, water spots and smudges.  This is great because I don’t have a lot time to clean to begin with, let alone wiping down appliances we use constantly everyday.

Overall, I was really pleased with the Simple Green household cleaners I tried out.  They are cleaners that usually work or they don’t and the Simple Green formulas work great!  It is nice too that they are non-toxic since I have two kids and with me being pregnant I shouldn’t really be breathing in fumes.  I highly recommend checking out all the Simple Green products for safe, quality, and effective cleaners!
