So this pregnancy has really been kicking my butt as far as energy goes. I am lucky enough not to have any sickness but I am definitely more tired than usual. With my first two boys I remember getting my energy back in the second trimester but I am still tired and napping daily when my boys nap. By the time I wake up I don’t feel like cooking a big meal and I hate to admit but we get a lot of take out or use frozen meals.
My husband is not a big fan of the frozen meals in a bag, but I love the convenience and can usually get them at a good price. They also are ready to go from the freezer to dinner table in less than 20 minutes. My husbands complaint though is that they usually don’t have any flavor or not enough. The 14 flavors of Mrs. Dash have allowed us to customize our frozen meals and give them extra flavor without extra sodium.
My favorite dish to add Mrs. Dash to is the frozen Steak Fajitas from TGI Fridays. Without Mrs. Dash they taste okay, but with the Fiesta Lima seasoning they really pop with flavor! I would have never thought to add salt or other spices to our frozen meals but with all the flavors I have from Mrs. Dash I have been looking for ways to incorporate more flavors into our meals!
So whether you are adding Mrs. Dash to a homemade meal or one from the freezer, the seasonings can really make a yummy difference!
