ABOUT:
Zippies are “the pals that hang around!” They are round, flexible, fun colored characters that help children identify their things by simply clipping them onto any belonging – water bottles, lunch boxes, backpacks, jackets, and even bicycles. Each collectible Zippies ID tag features a different character on one side with a place for contact information on the other.
Zippies give kids a fun and easy way to keep track of their stuff while parents rest assured that emergency contact information (last name and parent’s phone number) is with them at all times. Use the rubber loop – or detach it to clip the pal on a key ring. They can even help prevent the spread of germs by identifying water bottles and teach children the importance of being responsible for personal belongings. These kid collectibles can also prevent constant arguments over their belongings.
MY THOUGHTS:
I have labels that stick on clothes and items and I have rubber bands that have our names on it, but Zippies are a neat and versatile way to label items. I love that I can clip them on to jackets, waterbottles, some toys, belt loops, backpacks and more! My sons love were so excited to pick out the characters and put them on their items. Aidan chose the blue one for his school backpack and Gavin choose the green for his water bottle. What is nice about Zippies is that they are easily removeable and reused. There are nice too because they fit our last name and my cell phone number on them but they still look cool and fun.
I am going to be taking a handful of these guys with us to Disney World so I can clip them on my boys shorts in case they get separated from us. They also now have something to play with and look at while we are just out and about. There are so many different colors and characters that it would be hard not to find one your child (or you) like! I actually love the pink one (Kayla) and am going to hook it onto my keys in case they ever get lost at least my cell phone number will be on them and not my whole address. Zippies are also great no matter the age from preschoolers and up, they don’t look babyish or just for kids.
On his Backpack and a Waterbottle:
You can either use the bungee to wrap it around something or the circle clip to attach to a zipper or something similar:
