MY THOUGHTS:

My husband does not like the idea of our boys playing with dolls, but action figures of course okay.  The Boysterous Boys line is a great line of sports action figures for boys because they are of course all boys and they are geared towards sports!  They are geared towards:  Skateboarding, Soccer, Hockey, Snowboarding, and Football.  You can also purchase the “Extreme Sports Zone” which is a dual sided play mat for kids to use their Boysterous action figures to show off their skate moves, snow boarding ticks, get a touchdown, or score a goal!  The best part though is the Extreme Sports Zone zips and Velcros closed so you can carry your action figures inside!

I got the chance to check out the Boysterous Boy Goalie Gavin and Boysterous Boy Slope Shredding Sean.  Both of these action figures have moveable and bendable arms and legs so they be maneuvered during playtime.  They also have magnetic feet which allows them to attach to accessories, like the soccer ball or skateboard.  Their clothes do not come off so they are not meant to be played dress-up but they can be interchanged with sports accessories.  The figures are also about 4 inches tall and soft but sturdy.  My sons have been rough playing with them and they can take it!

Overall, my husband is fine with our boys playing with the Boysterous Action Figures and I love that it is great imaginative play for them.  It is also a nice break from traditional plastic action figures as these are soft figures and more posable!  My 2 year old especially loves them and is constantly grabbing them to play with each day.  I love that I can store the two figures inside the zippered Sports Zone so everything is contained and ready for the next play time.
