Naked…Really?

So Aidan (4 years old) was playing next door at the neighbors who has a 4 year old daughter and he was playing good.  Her mom was texting me updates and letting me know that he could still play there, when I got the phone call.  I knew it wasn’t going to be good since she was calling and not texting.  My husband answered and all I could hear was “Yep we’ll be right over”  “Oh my gosh.”  When he got off the phone he said Aidan is over there butt-naked running around their house!

I cannot believe he was naked!  He is not in a naked phase or anything and doesn’t do that at home, so I have no clue what made him do that at our neighbors.  Luckily my neighbors have a good sense a humor and I joked saying that it is better he gets his running around naked out of his system now rather than later!  Right now the kids play in her bedroom and her dad said in 10 years or so, Aidan isn’t allowed past the bannister!

Has your kid ever done something on a playdate that embarrassed you?  Or have you been the mom that dealt with another kid doing something embarrassing (like a kid running naked around your house?!)
