Zhu Zhu Puppies Trumped the iPad

My boys love their Zhu Zhu hamsters and Kung Zhu hamsters, they have played with them daily since we got them over a year ago!  When Zhu Zhu puppies came out, my 2 year old especially was beyond excited!  He would go crazy whenever the Zhu Zhu puppies commercials came on.

The other morning they were fighting over our new iPad so I figured it was time to open something they could both play together.  So when I opened up a box with two Zhu Zhu puppies, an outfit, and the Bark De  Triomphe playset, I couldn’t open the packages fast enough for them.  They immediately stopped fighting over the iPad and grabbed a puppy!  Now even though we received a white and pink Zhu Zhu puppy and a girly outfit, my boys didn’t care.  I handed them each a puppy and they immediately started to brush their puppies hair.  My 4 year old who is geared more towards boy toys, really liked the outfit and my 2 year old thought the little hat was adorable.

I set up the Bark De Triomphe play yard and they let their puppies zoom through it.  The play yard is nice because it comes with the play yard and patio table.  The Zhu Zhu puppies are the same design as the hamsters but they have hair and a button on their chest rather than their noses.  They play well with all the other Zhu Zhu hamsters and the play yards and outfits are interchangeable.  Even though the Zhu Zhu puppies are more towards the girly side, my boys didn’t mind and I think they should play with toys that are not just blue and black!

Zhu Zhu puppies are great whether you have any other Zhu Zhu’s or you just want to add to your collection.  They are not all girly either!  There is a Husky and Dachshund looking Zhu Zhu puppy that would be great for boys (or girls.)  There is also a playset that is green and blue (Bark Park Playset)  that would be great for boys.  Oh and there are of course accessories including the:  Puppy Car & Carport, Hotdog Cart, Bow-Wow Buggy and Puppy Bathtub!  And again all the Zhu Zhu hamsters and sets are compatible with each other so  feel free to mix it up!
