MY THOUGHTS:

I am all about skincare products, probably more so than I am with makeup.  I just can’t start the day without washing and moisturizing my face, but I can go without makeup.  Since I know bareMinerals only produces high quality products, I was excited to try out their skincare products and  I was not disappointed.

I got the chance to try out two bareMinerals skincare products:  Deep Cleansing Foam and Purely Nourishing Moisturizer for Combination skin.  Both products are:  Free of Parabens, No Synthetic Fragrances or Artifical Oils.

Deep Cleansing Foam

Deeply cleanse skin and lift away impurities with this luxurious cleanser. Powered by our 100% pure RareMinerals ActiveSoil Complex, this non-drying formula bursts into a rich lather when activated with water to deep clean pores, instantly refresh skin, and give you a naturally luminous glow.

The Deep Cleansing Foam definitely cleansed my face and left it feeling smooth and refreshed.  It wasn’t dry, irritated or tight after washing.  I will say though it is a thicker face wash, not a gel-like but more of a lotion cleanser, so a little bit does go a long way.  I put too much on the first time and it felt like a face mask, but still it washed off easily.  I do love how since I only need a little bit, that the 4.2 oz. tube is going to last me a long time.  There is also no smell really, which doesn’t bother me but I know irritates some people.

Purely Nourishing Moisturizer

The Purely Nourishing Moisturizer really complimented the Deep Cleansing Foam.  Even though my skin felt great after washing it with the Deep Cleansing Foam, I still wanted to use a moisturizer.  The Purely Nourishing Moisturizer went on smooth and light on my face for starters.  My skin felt refreshed and ready for the day.  It does say it improves firmness, elasticity, radiance and skin texture, which are all bonuses for me!  I do wish it contained an SPF, but I do like how great my face looked and felt after using it.  This moisturizer also didn’t really have a smell either.
