Before I was a mother, there was a lot I didn’t understand, I got embarrassed and I took things for granted. Seeing my first son for the first time changed me forever and I couldn’t thank him enough for that. I learned to appreciate lazy weekends, making messes (ones that are easily cleanable at least), sitting outside and watching the clouds and birds, waking up early (still getting used to this one), family movie nights with popcorn, and so much more.
I now have two wonderful boys, ages 2 and 4, and they continue to amaze and teach me everyday. Motherhood is definitely a life-changing experience! My 4 year old has speech delays and within the past year has really been saying words. Just the other day he learned to say “Shoe” after calling it a “Hush” (he reverses words and mispronounces them) for so long. He can also all of the sudden say and write the letters of his name. I had no clue he could do that, and when I asked his teacher she said they don’t teach them to write their names yet but if a student shows interest they will work with them. We were sitting at a restaurant and he wanted to color on the paper placemat and the next thing I know he had written “Aidan.” It was truly amazing! My 2 year old loves to shop with me and help put everything away, he shows me his muscles and how he can carry the bags and items!
In July we will add a baby girl to our family and I know she will definitely have some things of her own to teach me! From the good to the bad, I wouldn’t give any of it up. I love the hugs, kisses (even the ones with snot in them), and every little moment of watching my children grow.
In honor of Mother’s Day Carolina Pad has sent me some great products to check out, and they are all awesome!
Items I received:
13-pocket coupons expandable – perfect for coupons, gift cards, business cards and more!
Desk Pad – perfect pad to keep on hand to jot down notes
Ideal Book – perfect for journaling or notetaking
Mini Clutch – perfect to hold little items
Personal Book – great notebook for list making or notetaking
I love each and every one of them because not only are they fabulously designed but they are so versatile. The Personal Book is a small 7×5 in ch notebook with a pocket in the front and 80 sheets of paper. It is perfect for keeping in my purse for notes on the go. The Mini Clutch is great for holding just about anything, such as candy, makeup, business cards, coupons, and more. It is small but perfect for just enough of what I’d want to carry. The 13-pocket Expandable File is smaller than the giant Expandable files but the perfect size for coupons. My stores don’t take expired coupons so I don’t usually carry a lot with me anyways, this way I can store them in a fashionable file and don’t feel embarrassed wiping out a giant file or binder. The Desk Pad has 100 sheets is exactly what I needed since I am always looking for something to write on at my desk and this square pad fits perfectly under my Mac monitor. Finally the Ideal Book is a bigger notebook (not traditional size) and I keep it in my laptop bag for notes. It has 3 sections, 2 tab dividers and 2 pockets in the front.
I know traditional notebooks and stationary items can be cheaper but they are usually boring solid colors, fall apart easily and not the sizes I want. With Carolina Pad I love that I can mix and match collections or buy everything matching. I dream of the day when I can have everything organized, written in its place where I can find, and still look good! I could actually go crazy buying Carolina Pad products since there are so many great designs and sizes and the prices are quite reasonable.
