ABOUT:
Sunsweet Growers has finally perfected the art of prune making (after 100 years) to create the D’Lightful, D’Licious, D’Noir Prunes. They are the juiciest, best-tasting prune of their kinds, as well as free of preservatives. These prunes are also full of all the whole fruit antioxidants and all-natural fiber and potassium that make prunes the Super Fruit they are!
In celebration of D’Noir Prunes, Sunsweet has launched the “Dare to D’Noir Challenge” which is a Facebook-based video contest challenging prune lovers and prune skeptics alike to Dare to D’Noir and upload videos sharing what they think about the new product from now through June 17. Five finalists will be selected and put to a public vote for a chance to win the grand prize of $5,000!

MY THOUGHTS:
Okay I admit I thought prunes were for old people and they didn’t eat it for taste but rather for the health benefits – fiber and antioxidants; however, when I saw the D’Noir Prunes by Sunsweet packaging they looked so modern and delicious, I had to try them.
So I opened the bag and saw these giant dried but still juicy looking prunes and popped one in my mouth. Actually they were so big that I bit half and chewed. These prunes were delicious! They were dried but not to the point of being dried out and crunchy, just enough so they weren’t regular looking prunes. They were so chewy and soft, and I couldn’t stop at one! I had assumed they would be like big raisins, but they are nothing like that! They are also preservative free so they require refrigeration after opening. My 2 year old was even adventurous and tried one and liked it! With me being the snacker that I am, I love that I can keep these around min my fridge for when I get a craving or really just feel I need a fiber boost! I highly recommend them to all the skeptics out there, like I was, to at least try them because I bet you will be as shocked as I was! D’Noir Prunes are for all ages and delicious!

I need to give Prunes a better try. I ate them when I was younger and hated them, but these look good!

My daughters love prunes. My 16 year old even takes them for lunch. I'll have to look for these in the store. Thanks for the review!
