39 Dollar Glasses.com was developed by eye doctors to create affordable, high quality prescription glasses.  They can offer the same quality materials at such a discount because of their high volume and no overhead.  They offer all sorts of eyeglasses and sunglasses for both kids and adults.

Their $39 complete pair packages are all made with polycarbonate lenses, the lightest and most impact-resistant material made.  They are also thinner than standard optical lenses and come in both 100% UV and tough scratch-resistance coating applied to both sides of lenses and edges at no extra charge!  You can add Anti-Reflective Coating to any glasses for an extra charge.

MY THOUGHTS:

I have been wearing glasses since I was 12 and I remember my mom stressing back then how careful I needed to be since the glasses cost so much money.  I went through quite a few pairs of the years and when I started paying for them myself I realized what an investment glasses were.  I also realized how set I had to be on the glasses I purchased because it was too expensive to buy multiple pairs.

39 Glasses allows you to buy a few pairs to either have a spare pair of glasses or be able to match different outfits!  I got the chance to try out a pair of glasses and first off shopping online for them was easy.  You first choose which type you’d like (metal, plastic, rimless, semi-rimless…), then the frame color, lens type and you are then ready to customize them.  Each frame has the ability to print out an actual-size picture of the frame and check out the glasses on different face shapes (on various models.)  The size, width, and lens height is displayed, as well as what the numbers mean in case you don’t know.  There are even customer reviews to check out.  When you are ready you just enter in the information from you eyeglass prescription and check out!

I got to pick out a pair to review and love them!  The quality is nothing less than what I received from traditional eyeglass stores in the past.  The glasses are durable and came out perfect.  They even arrived in a nice hard shell case with a little cloth and eyeglass screwdriver set!  I was so impressed for the price!  I did though upgrade my lenses since I wear them full-time and my total did come to just about $80, still a great price for a great pair of glasses!  I admit I was worried about buying glasses online but they turned out just fine.  I was thinking though to make it easier buying glasses online, I could always go to a traditional eyeglass store and try out a few pairs, then look online for a similar pair (of course at a cheaper price!)
