I just learned from Green Works how to “Green it Yourself” from green living expert Carter Oosterhouse. He has a whole bunch of great video tips on the Green Works Facebook Page.
With a new baby coming I was especially interested in the Kid’s Room Edition. I learned to look for environmentally friendly (no VOC) paint because smells can linger in walls and carpeting long after the paint dries. I also learned how important it is to wash everything before it touches the babies skin, Green Works detergent was recommend. Oh and I had no clue curtains hold in dust and allergies!
I had no clue how toxic a nursery could be or that I should be aware of so much around our new baby. I am definitely checking out the rest of the videos for the other rooms of the household!
