Everything is planned, packed, and ready to go! As families start to load their minivans and share the open road for the summer travel season, safety is always a major concern, especially with young children in the car. On the heels of the new American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA,) guidelines, which calls for all infants and toddlers to ride in a Rear-Facing Car Safety Seat until they are 2 years of age, Evenflo has reintroduced the popular “How to Repair Your Husband’s Bruised Ego” Savvy Parent video. While parents agree that car seats are needed for car safety, most feel that installing them isn’t easy and want to know they’ve done it right. In fact, 60% of moms admit they had their car seats checked by a professional (i.e. firehouse) to ensure it is installed properly according to a new Evenflo Savvy Parents survey.
Front, back, booster or convertible? It’s hard to keep up with the proper position of a car seat. That’s why 72% of moms keep an eye out for the latest government regulations, just to be safe – whether traveling 100 miles or 1,000 miles from home. We’d love for you to share this fun video on your blog to show parents that they are not enduring parenting troubles alone (embed code provided far below). Parents are also encouraged to interact and share tales on Evenflo’s social media sites:
