ZAGGsparq 2.0 Review (& Giveaway US/CAN Ends 6/17)

ZAGGsparq 2.0 is a portable power device that is a convenient size and perfect for gadget lovers!  It plugs into a standard outlet and provides two USB ports for charging mobile devices.  Then you unplug the ZAGGsparq 2.0 and it carries multiple charges for any personal device that can be powered by a USB cord – four complete recharges for power-hungry devices!  It works on everything from cell phones to hand-held gaming systems!  It actually has the power to charge most smart phones four times and has an indicator to display power level (25%-50%-75%-100%)  It also takes the iPad from 0% to 60% at the same rate the wall charger chargers the iPad.

The small size makes it perfect for storing in bags and pockets, and it offers the convenience of carrying a universal USB device!

MY THOUGHTS:

Okay first off let me say my family and I could not live without our Apple devices, especially our iPod Touch, iPhones, and iPad.  It started out with my husband getting an iPhone then since the monthly service plan wasn’t in our budget for me, I got an iPod Touch, then we upgraded my husband’s iPhone so his old phone because an iPod Touch and then we got the iPad.  Not only do we rely on them for work, email, and entertainment, but they really are great to keep kids occupied in lets say the car, a restaurant, doctors office or as a potty training tool (yes I let my son play Angry Birds but only if he sits on the potty!)

Now usually I can charge our apple devices overnight or whenever we are not using them, but I do forget and when the one I need is dead, it sucks!  For example, the other night we were taking the kids out to dinner. Usually I let them each play with an iPod at the restaurant when they have exhausted crayons and other small toys, but when I grabbed one it was completely dead.  So since I had just charged the ZAGGsparq, I grabbed that and the apple USB cord and plugged my iPod Touch into it and threw it into my purse.  By the time we arrived at the restaurant 15 minutes later my iPod Touch was up and running, with actually quite a lot of battery life (it didn’t die until the next day.)  My sons were each happy and therefore my husband and I were able to enjoy our meals!

After seeing how awesome the ZAGGsparq is, my husband has decided he wants to keep it with him for work in case his iPhone or iPad die, both of which he uses for work purposes as well.  Now the way the ZAGGsparq works is you plug it in to an actual outlet and let it charge.  Then when all four lights are lite up its ready to grab and go.  Then when you need to charge a device (or two since there are two USB ports) you just plug them into the ZAGsparq and it charges the devices for you without needed to be by a computer or an outlet.  This would be great too for traveling, I know I have had trouble finding a plug in an airport!  The ZAGGsparq will tell you by the push of a button how much charge is left and it is small enough to store anywhere!  I have tried similar devices in the past like this, but the ZAGGsparq is definitely my new favorite.  Also, I should add the ZAGGsparq is not just for Apple products but anything you can charge with a USB cord – phones, MP3 players and more!
