Hungry Jack Premium Hashbrown Potatoes Review (& Prize Pack Giveaway Ends 7/26)

ABOUT:

Made from 100 percent Idaho® potatoes, Hungry Jack® Premium Hashbrown Potatoes come fully cooked and seasoned and require no refrigeration. In just four easy steps, you can prepare tasty, restaurant-quality hashbrowns in approximately 15 minutes. With the time saved, you can even sit down with your family to enjoy a special, home-cooked breakfast.

MY THOUGHTS:

I love hash browns but I admit I am not a chef in the morning (let alone awake yet) to cook a big breakfast.  I also always end up burning or undercooking hash browns typically!  The new Hungry Jack Hashbrown Potatoes are not only super easy to cook but they are delicious!  All you do is grab the package, which is a dry good so no refrigeration necessary and add water.  After letting it sit for 12 minutes, drain any leftover water out of the carton and pan fry with some oil.  I love how portable and small the carton is and that it can go right next to the pancake mix in our cabinet!  Also, perfect for camping an backpacking!  Each carton makes an entire pound of hashbrowns for a total of six servings – perfect for about a family of four I think!

As far as taste goes, they were definitely restaurant quality.  They were crispy, fresh tasting, and not at all what you’d expect for coming out of a carton!  I will be stocking up on these to have on hand for quick breakfasts, dinner (Meat and Potatoes Meatloaf)  and even snacks (such as Zucchini Parmesan Cakes.)  My husband still can’t believe how much more he liked these than the regular frozen ones we buy.

BUY IT:  Look for Hungry JackPremium Hashbrown Potatoes at a store near you, including Walmart, Safeway, Albertsons, Kroger, Publix and Super Target!

WIN IT:  (1) US winner will receive a Hungry Jack Premium Hashbrown Potatoes Prize Pack!

TO ENTER:  Leave a comment on how you like to eat your hashbrowns!
