Mom to Mom Training Pants Review (& $25 Safeway GC Giveaway Ends 7/29)

Safeway has a new and improved brand of baby products called mom to mom.  The line includes high-quality products created by the experts, i.e. moms!

Recently though Dominick’s (one of the many Safeway affiliates) has re-launched their mom to mom line of diapers and training pants.

• mom to mom diapers are now available only in the Supreme variety (in the purple packaging), and offer better leakage control, perfect fit waistband and tabs, an ultra absorbent core, and a super soft hypoallergenic liner with aloe, vitamin E, and organic botanicals.
• mom to mom training pants are now easier to change and provide  better fit and comfort, have easy open sides (a feature not available on all training pants), and  a super soft hypoallergenic liner with aloe, vitamin E,  and organic botanicals.

MY THOUGHTS:

With two boys in training pants I am always looking for a good deal on them, but I also worry about quality.  Training Pants that leak or don’t fit comfortably are pretty much useless in my opinion.  I also look for convenience buying them, such as from a store I am regularly at.

Dominick’s is one of my grocery stores of choice and I love that they have an exclusive and affordable baby/toddler product line.  I actually hadn’t even noticed it until recently but I am glad I veered down that aisle!  Then I got the chance to check out the new Kiddie-Ups Training Pants and was happy to try them out.  Kiddie Ups start at sizing 2-3T and go up to 4-5T, in both boys and girl varieties.

Your big boy can put these on all by himself making him feel so grown up! Customized protection for boys with wetness indicators and stretchy refastenable sides for better fit & comfort. Hypoallergenic liner with natural botanicals, vitamin E and aloe.

The first thing I noticed about the Kiddie Ups Training Pants are how thin they are.  Other training pants I have tried are puffy and almost diaper-like, so I do like thinner training pants for my boys.  The design was simple, not a popular character or anything, but for the price I didn’t expect anything fancy.  My 3 and 4 year old boys have been wearing the Kiddie Ups mainly at night or if we go out somewhere and so far we haven’t had any problems.  They have a good stretch on their sides and have a Velcro closure.  They don’t seem to ride up on them or bother them at all.  Luckily my boys don’t have sensitive skin but it is nice that they are made with a hypoallergenic liner, aloe and vitamin E.
