MAM Baby Products Review

ABOUT:

MAM is a company whose focus is creating high-quality baby products and has been since 1976.  Design, medical research, and technical innovation go hand in hand in creating MAM products to satisfy the highest expectations of parents and give babies a good start.

MY THOUGHTS:

With a new baby in our house, I once again find myself with pacifiers, bottles, and teething products.  Both of my boys got their first teeth pretty quick and Olivia is already chewing pretty good on her pacifiers.  Now that I am mom for the third time I feel like I know a thing or two about baby products and MAM definitely has some great ones out!

MAM Anti-Colic Bottle

Ideal for newborns, the MAM Anti-Colic Bottle helps reduce gas and colic symptoms in babies by 80%, thanks to a patented ventilation system that regulates milk flow and eliminates air pockets.  The bottles are BPA-free, Lead-free, PVC-free and Phthalate-free.  Available in 5 ounce or 8 ounce size for newborns and up.  Suggested price is $6.99.

Air bubbles from bottles are something that can be terrible for babies.  I remember crying with my boys are they cried from what I can only assume is gas bubbles.   The MAM bottles include an ultra soft silicone nipple and vented base to ensure smooth milk flow.  They are available in different sizes, designs, and milk flows.  It is easy to quickly fill and clean later due to its wide openings at both ends.  A unique feature though is its innovative self-sterilizing feature that lets busy parents sterilize an empty bottle in the microwave with a few simple steps!

MAM Baby Bottle

Perfect for babies that ages 2+ months and up, this lightweight MAM Baby Bottle comfortably fits in baby’s hands.  The functional design and wide opening makes the bottle easy to fill and clean, too.  It stands securely when set down and features an easy-to-read scale for accurate measuring.  Available in a 9 ounce size for babies 2+ months and an 11 ounce size for babies age 4+ months.  Suggested price is $6.99.

Since Olivia is only a newborn she hasn’t had the chance to try out the Baby Bottle yet but I know she will like it.  Since Olivia likes the Anti-Colic Bottle and it has the same soft silicone nipple, the MAM Baby Bottle should be a smooth transition for her.  I like that it comes with a leak-proof cap and wide opening for cleaning.  The design is also super adorable!  There are also different nipple flows available for different ages for the bottle can grow with your child.

MAM Bite & Brush Teether

The MAM Bite and Brush compliments daily oral care by gently cleaning baby’s first teeth.  Sensitive gums are instantly soothed by the gentle massaging action provided by the teether’s unique soft bristles.  Recommended for babies 3 months and up and retails for $5.99.  (Also available in other colors.)

We haven’t had a chance yet to try this out with teeth yet with Olivia since it is for ages 3 months and up but I have let her hold it and rubbed it on her gums.  The design is great since it is lightweight and small enough that it is easy for babies to hold on their own.  I know in a few months Olivia will get lots of use out of this teether whether it is to soothe her gums or chew on as teeth come in.

Starter Teether and Clip

The MAM Starter Teether and Clip is an extra lightweight teether that won’t go missing due to the included clip!  Its features include a super soft and textured surface to help sooth baby’s sore gums.  An easy-to-use clip safely attaches to baby’s clothes to keep the teether within reach.  It is recommended for babies age 1 months and up and retails for $5.99.  (Available in other colors.)

This teether is super cute pink with little textured elephants on it (other styles and colors available) and I love that it comes with a clip.  I remember loosing teethers (and pacifiers) all the time and with this clip at least I can clip it on to clothes or a blanket.  The strap is not long at all but just enough to attach safely.  The design is great too because it is super lightweight and soft, but perfect for chewing on!  I love that it is also BPA free so at least something Olivia puts in her mouth, amongst all the toys and other foreign objects from around our house, will be safe!

MAM Oral Care Rabbit

Designed to maintain baby’s oral hygiene before teeth arrive, the MAM Oral Care Rabbit gently removes plaque and bacteria from baby’s mouth.  Mom’s fingers tuck into the rabbit’s super soft ears like a glove, allowing her to gently massage and clean baby’s gums.  Regular use of the MAM Oral Care Rabbit also helps prepare baby for a regular tooth brushing at an early age.  It is recommended for newborns and up and retails for $5.99.  (Also available in pink)

This MAM oral care product is something we can use right away.  Even though Olivia is only drinking milk still, I want to start off with a good oral care routine (especially since we are working on teeth brushing with our boys.)  The Oral Care Rabbit is so soft and I love that I can control it with my finger safely inside so I am not gagging her.  I also don’t mind if Olivia teeths on this when she needs to since the material is soft and BPA free.  The bunny design also makes it cute and kid-friendly.

MAM Perfect Pacifier

This innovative pacifier features a unique Dento-Flex nipple neck, which is 60% thinner and 3 times softer than those of comparable pacifiers.  It’s thinner, softer nipple provides less pressure on baby’s jaw and teeth for healthy oral development.

MAM features tons of great pacifiers in different designs and ages, from newborn up through 18 months.  All the pacifiers feature a curved shield for comfort and as to not irritate skin as well as air holes on the sides.  It has a knob to easily remove or place in your child’s mouth which can also attach to the MAM Clips that are available.  The Clips allow it to clip the pacifier onto baby’s clothes or blanket so it is always within reach and doesn’t fall onto the floor!

The nipple is also ultra soft silicone (like the bottle nipples) so it is soft enough for baby but thanks to the anti-slip surface it stays in baby’s mouth longer for soothing!  The design also includes a orthodontic nipple ideal for baby’s jaw and teeth development, as it adapts to your child’s mouth so it is always in the right position.

  • Hi There Momandmore,
Thanks, on a related note, Any female who has been pregnant can confirm that pregnancy is stuffed with anxieties. Granted, some of these anxieties are unfounded, but mothers-to-be and dads-to-be repeatedly fret about anything at all that seems or feels out of the standard. To ensure that the pregnancy goes as easily as feasible, most most women request out the current and most desirable pregnancy particulars, change their lifestyles to optimize the wellness of their babies, and get conventional prenatal treatment.
