Infantino Right Angle Tummy Triangle Review

MY THOUGHTS:

“Tummy Time” was never something I pushed or stressed out about, but a lot of parents struggle right alongside their kids.  I mean with my boys I of course had tummy time with them but I didn’t realize how important it was and luckily they grew and developed just fine.  Some babies though hate tummy time and need extra help and even if they don’t need help, Infantino came out with a great new product that any baby is sure to love!

My baby girl, Olivia, was just about six weeks old when I started using the Right Angle Tummy Triangle with here.  At first I admit I though it was going to be another baby product that we barely used, but we actually use it everyday.  Olivia loves it!  By laying her on it she not only is able to push with her legs better to strengthen them but also she seems to have more motivation to hold her head up.  The angle allows her to see up high better and even reach toys on the play mat we have it on.  The Tummy Triangle also comes with a mirror and little toy of its own and you could really even attach your own items to it.  The toy bar then adjusts up as your baby grows.  The Tummy Triangle I think also helps Olivia with gas (yes I said it).  I don’t know if it’s the angle or the softness or the part she has her tummy on, but when she is fussy or gassy the Tummy Triangle seems to do the trick for her!

Two other great features are that the cover is machine washable (great for when baby spits up!) and the musical timer it comes with.  The musical timer is a separate piece that you can actually use long after you are done with the Tummy Triangle and it plays music for your baby in increments of 1, 5, and 10.

Overall, I definitely recommend the Tummy Triangle.  While it is only a product you will use for probably four months or so, it really is neat.  It is a product for those babies who hate tummy time and even if they don’t it gives a whole new view to tummy time.  My Olivia doesn’t mind tummy time at all but this Infantino product is great for her to get more out of her tummy time.  It is definitely something different and reasonably priced.  (Other products like this has sold for $100 or more for schools and developmental therapists to use with kids.)
