Kix “Kid-Tested, Mother Approved” Review #MyBlogSpark (& Giveaway Ends 9/28)

Kix Cereal is proud to say they are still kid-tested, mother approved!  With whole grain corn, iron, calcium, fiber, Vitamins C and D, moms can feel good about their family eating it!

MY THOUGHTS:

If you have never had Kix before, it is crunchy corn balls that a little sweet.  They are low in sugar with no artificial color, flavors or preservatives.  I just read too that Kix has been around for more than 70 years, so they must be doing something right!

I admit I am the mom who herself eats all the sugary, marshmallowey, artificially colored cereal, so Kix was a cereal I wouldn’t have normally tried.  Now though that my boys are eating cereal I am trying to be a better role model and plus eat a little healthier for myself!

I will say I was surprised that I liked Kix and even more surprised that my boys did!  What is great is that they have just even sweetness that you don’t realize its just a plain yellow corn puff cereal!  I can pour all of us a bowl of it and everyone eats it!  I cannot believe either all iron, calcium, fiber and vitamins in it – it’s a bonus to the yummy flavor.  I love that I can also take them to go to as a snack in a Ziploc bag.  Kix also participates in Box Tops for Education which I love to buy products that support my son’s school!
