FyrFlyz Review

ABOUT:

FyrFlyz are a precision-based toy that spins on its axis.  By swinging the connected two strings and applying tension or allowing slack, kids can create a continuous movement (figure eights, rings, etc.)  The fun begins when the lights go out and the FyrFlyz  multi-color LED lights turn the movement into an amazing light show that kids can play themselves or show their friends.

Put on a light show from the palm of your hand with the nifty FyrFlyz Fire Flies Nytfyr.This compact gadget is simple to use but tough to master whizz it through the air and youve got a ready made light display, or try out some of the cool moves you can use to create different shapes and patterns.

MY THOUGHTS:

My boys love glowsticks and FyrFlyz take glowsticks to a whole new level!  FyrFlyz is something you hold on each hand with a glowing string connecting them.  You spin your hands around, up/down, in circles, waves, and just all over to create awesome lighted displays.  Of course you play with it in the dark for the most fun and when I think about the hours I used to spend as a kids with glowsticks, I know my boys will be playing for FyrFlyz for just as long.  While these are something to be used outside, I don’t see why you couldn’t use it inside in a dark room or basement (obviously you would need enough room around you to spin it though.) You can also change the FyrFlyz batteries (batteries are included) so as long as you don’t loose Fyrflyz!

As far as using them goes, it is pretty easy to do basic light shows, but by playing around you can practice to create some really neat ones.  The back of the package has a bunch of design ideas to work towards.  I am sure our neighbors were wondering what the heck my boys were swinging around but in the same time mesmerized by how cool it looked!
