MY THOUGHTS:

Kid K’NEX is great because it is chunkier versions of the traditional K’NEX but perfect for little hands.  The Farmyard Friends Building Set comes with 47 pieces to build a barn, two animals, a farmer and then a few extra pieces.  While it is for ages 3 and up I could see a 2 year old playing with it and my boys (3 and 4) loved it.  It was easy for them to snap the pieces in and the loved the swinging door on the barn.  They also mixed up the animals and used the eyes on the barn to build other funny animals as shown in the instructions for additional design ideas!  The set does come in a nice cardboard box with carrying handle but I will probably throw this set in a plastic box or bag to keep everything together once the box gets ratty.  Overall though I think this set is adorable and the creative possibilities are endless! It is a simple and small set but there is enough to keep kids building!
