MY THOUGHTS:

I have ordered custom holiday cards for the past six years now and every year I like to try out a new company.  This year I checked out Mixbook Christmas Cards and they truly are a unique website.  First off you can choose to start with a blank card or choose a pre-made design to customize.  I could have scanned through the designs for hours and hours, I actually probably spent way to much time already looking through them!  The designs tell you the size and as low as price.  You can then choose the paper quality (Budget, Classic Coated, or Premium Matte.)

To personalize the card, the Mixbook editor opens.  It is a web editor rather than something you need to download and install.  You then add photos, change layots and backgrounds and add stickers.  It is super easy to drag and drop things on your card or remove them.  Mixbook is really for someone who wants a particular design and doesn’t want anything decided for them – every single aspect of the card is customizable.  When I was customizing our card I moved and changed everything around and it came out absolutely perfect!   There are so many different items to choose from that I can’t imagine two people’s cards ever coming out the same!

The only thing I wasn’t too thrilled about is that I couldn’t sort the card designs by photos allowed or size of card.  I did find realize though that once I found a card I liked I was able to change the text and number of photos on the card.  The number of photos is especially important to me because I had a certain amount of photos I wanted to use on a 5 x 7 flat card.

When I received the card in about a week, I was totally impressed.  The card came out awesome!  I choose pictures on the front and back and they came out crisp and bright.  There was nothing I disliked about this card.  I just mailed them and can’t wait for my friends and family to get them! Oh and you also get nice envelopes to go with your cards!
