The Magic Fashion Show, designed for girls ages 3-8 years old, playset lets them become a head designer of their own fashion shows. They can dress runway models “backstage” in different outfits and accessories, and then send them along a circular catwalk to show off each new ensemble under a real working spotlight. The product comes with five standing figures and plenty of Colorforms‘ Stick-Ons play pieces to create hundreds of different outfit combinations, allowing up to five kids to play together and participate in a real fashion show experience!

MY THOUGHTS:

The Magic Fashion Show is something that I would have loved to have when I was little!  I grew up with Colorforms and loved designing with them, but I never had anything like this Fashion Show.  First off you get so much that I couldn’t see ever getting bored with it.  You get five cardboard dolls and six sheets of Colorforms clothes and accessories.  I found that it was really easy to stick the Colorforms on and there is no reading required, which makes it perfect for younger kids.  The platform has notches to snap the dolls in which you can then turn the dial to rotate the runway and turn the runway lights on/off with a button.

Assembling the Fashion Show was very easy as the few pieces just snapped in and you inserted the three AA batteries (not included.)  The only drawback was having no where to store all the Colorforms – oh wait they thought of that!  In the back there is a drawer that opens up to store all the pieces and with a nice plastic carrying handle you can carry this room to room with everything contained and ready to go! I think too there are enough pieces for a few kids to play with at the same time.  I was amazed at how much fun I had with it too!
