Last year we started our first holiday tradition, and his name is Allen. Right after Thanksgiving Allen makes his appearance and gets into mischief, helps out and just surprises us all with his nightly adventures. Allen is an Elf Magic Elf and is definitely a big part of our family, especially during the holiday season. He helps my boys get into the Christmas spirit and helps my husband and I realize we need to stop and enjoy the little things every now and then!
Allen was sent to by Santa Claus after my boys requested an Elf Magic friend to visit. Allen will be with us until Christmas Eve night which he will then return to the North Pole to help out Santa. How do we know he is really from Santa? Allen has a snowflake on his heart which Santa put there so we know he’s authentic.
Before going to bed, we put out some saltine crackers and ice water for Allen to eat. Why crackers and water? Well the Elves’ favorite snack is crackers since it reminds them of crunch snow and ice water is melting North Pole Snowflakes. To keep Allen comfortable while he is visiting with us Santa even sent him complete with his suitcase, clothes, magical snowflakes, passport, a poem, and Tip Sheet on Caring for your Elf. Every night we also sprinkle some North Pole Snowflakes on Allen, this nightly dusting is what creates Elf Magic when everyone is asleep.
This year we also got sent some new Elfits and Elf Magic Accessories for Allen. Since my husband is a huge hockey fan (and trying to get my boys into it) we got a Team Hockey Elfit. Allen can now deck out in his hockey gear which includes a jersey, helmet and ice skates (Hockey stick and puck available for download online.) We also got a Jolly Holiday Robe & Slippers complete with robe and snowman slippers. Allen loves his new clothes and my boys think its funny that he changes!
This past week since Allen arrived, he has had some silly Elfcapades.
