No play kitchen is complete without the Pretend & Play Pro Chef Set!
Get cooking with top-chef gear designed to look like the real thing. Lots of pieces to encourage imaginative play and build fine motor skills. Includes large deluxe stock pot, saucepan, 2 lids, skillet, spatula, 2 cooking spoons, oven mitt, play food (chicken leg, carrot, corncob and fried egg) and write and wipe Activity Guide. Largest pot measures 5 1/2″L x 2 3/4″H. Wipe with a damp cloth.
This set is great because the items are big and kids can actually use them. I have a set of pots and pans that came with the play kitchen we bought but they barely fit one piece of food. These items are big and are more adult-like! As you can see in my picture below, I fit four pieces of food in the one pot and had room to spare! It is neat too that they have lids and the utensils are also longer and easier to use for small hands. Oh and the oven mitt is adorable! If you have a child who likes their play kitchen, this set is a must because the items are big enough to really play. I will add though that the plastic they are made of is not as durable as I’d like and while we haven’t broken anything yet I am a little worried. I’d still recommend this set though!
The Activity Book is really cute, although its just six pages. It is a dry erase book with activities simple for small kids such as a maze, draw your favorite meal, counting fun, pick healthy foods, pick foods that don’t belong and pick the different sized food item. My 4 year old really liked the book!
