ABOUT:
Drawsome Tablet is the only tablet for Wii that comes bundled with two games: Drawsome Artist™ and Drawsome Sketch QuestTM. Both games encourage players to unleash their creativity, as well as challenge players to embark on fun family friendly gaming adventures.
The Drawsome Tablet features a large 8.5-inch screen that allows for unrestricted drawing movements and features an innovative transparency layer that covers the drawing area, so players can trace their favorite images. Drawsome Tablet includes a wireless stylus which means players’ movements will not be limited by a tether; the size, shape and feel of the pen also allows for a user-friendly experience for children. Everything drawn on the Drawsome Tablet will be displayed in real time on a home television. Using an SD Card, users will be able to share their masterpieces easily with friends and family!
With Drawsome Artist, players can draw, paint and color by sketching on their own, or learn advanced art techniques step-by-step. They can even interact with their favorite characters from The Smurfs™, the world-renowned animated brand, and learn how to draw and color them thanks to a huge gallery of predefined models. Also included is Drawsome Sketch Quest, in which players embark on an adventure to help a variety of cute animals race through their world by drawing bridges, trampolines and more. With 40 characters and 80 levels, there is never a dull moment in either solo play or family friendly four-person co-op.

MY THOUGHTS:
The Drawsome Tablet comes with two games to so you can get started right away – Sketch Quest and Artist. The tablet has a pretty big drawing screen and the stylus is attached but with a good length elastic cord. You definitely have a good drawing space and room to move your hand around.
The first game, Sketch Quest, has you draw different things to help your animals navigate through the levels. There are screen prompts to help but it does require some patience. You really need to get used to drawing straight lines and so forth to master this game. I tried it without really practicing and got stuck on level 2! It does though have neat graphics and a fun concept. You can play multi-player too but I haven’t tried that feature yet.
The second game, Artist, is our family favorite. It is a drawing game that features the Smurfs! There are coloring sheets and free draw. My boys loved coloring sheets as it lets you color without going outside the lines. It is great practice for coloring! The free draw is probably my youngest son’s favorite because he can draw whether he wants! There are tons of different colors, tool types (paint brush, pencil, fill…) I think I drew like a million cars already for him! I am curious to try out the SD card feature to transfer our artwork over, but I haven’t had a chance to clear out an SD card.
Overall, I think the Drawsome has some great features. I think with the two games that it comes with are perfect additions and I don’t think the tablet needs anything else. Additional games would be nice, but I really like the free draw. It serves its purpose and keeps us all happy and occupied, perfect for all ages.
