My husband is just months away from finishing grad school and the class he is currently in has him writing an essay every week. Luckily it is only a one page essay but still he needs a few hours a week to write it, not counting the hours is already away from us in class. It has been almost five years of him going to school once a week (minus summertime) and I can’t wait for it to be over!
This class seems pretty easy going and I know I shouldn’t complain about a one page paper (other times its been a lot more.) Since his schooling is costing us a pretty penny I appreciate too that my husband is putting effort into his homework rather than cheating by searching for free essays online. So for now I give him the time he needs and count down the classes until I no longer have to compete with grad school. It does remind me of college and how many people would just grab their papers off the Internet rather than doing the work themselves.

Mine is in grad school too! He is taking 2 classes a semester as well as summer. I swear he doesn't see the kids for a week at a time because he leaves before they wake up, and comes home after they're asleep. I really know what a single mom feels like sometimes, and I don't envy them! Of course, a perfect timing would have it, I'm pregnant again! Super excited, but gonna be some lonely night with the newborn!
Oh I know how you feel. My husband started when we had just had our first baby and have had two more while he has been in school 5 years. Luckily he only goes 1 day a week and can work on his homework mostly after kids are in bed. The one day is gone though before they wake up and after they are in bed and I too can't imagine being a single mom - it is nice to know there is a light at the end of the tunnel for his graduation. Good luck!
