Pizza Hut & America’s Biggest Storytime!

Pizza Hut and the Book It! Reading Program goal is to motivate children to read more and develop a lifelong love of reading.  Last month Quarterback Tim Tebow hosted the Fifth America’s Biggest Storytime Event where he read his favorite childhood book via the web – Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss.

From now until March 31^st you can still check out the Biggest Storytime Ever with your children (or students) but reading and Pizza Hut will be available anytime!

I remember the Book It! Reading Program from when I was younger and how I had to read so many books to get my free Pizza Hut pizza.  I think it is awesome of Pizza Hut to continue that tradition and can’t wait to work with my boys on it!  A treat like pizza is a great motivator for kids or really Pizza Hut pizza is good anytime!

Last year it was Justin Bieber and even though I am not familiar with Tim Tebow, I think it great to use celebrities/sports figures who are role models for kids.  I am all for whatever it takes to motivate kids to read as I am an avid reader but not so much my kids yet.
