It’s time to get moving. Can you keep up? When you turn it on, this totally cool Bop It game calls out commands. It’s up to you to “pull it”, “bop it”, “twist it” — or “flick it”, “spin it”, “shake it”! Can you keep up as the tempo revs?

Play Bop It! XT in party mode or solo — you can even plug in your headphones to keep the game all to yourself. Get it right and you can keep going, but if you get the moves wrong, your turn is up. Think you’ve got what it takes to beat it? Then, start the action!

Includes Bop It! XT game unit, instructions, and 3 “AAA” batteries.  For 1 or more players.  Ages 8 and up.

MY THOUGHTS:

I have the original Bop It! and loved it, now the Bop It! XT takes the game to a new level!  While the game is for ages 8 and up, my 5 year old loves it (as does my 3 year old who is clueless about what he’s doing!)  To play you have to Bop It! Twist It! Pull It! Spin It! Flick It! and Shake It! in the order the sounds go.  You score points and the game gets more and more challenging!  You have to be fast or you run out of time and loose.  There are different levels too so you can work your way up (novice, expert, master and pro levels.)

For kids I think this game is great because it teaches them to listen and remember directions.  It is a brain game that helps keeps your mind sharp as well as keep you entertained!  The Bop It! XT is one piece, nothing separate for little hands to loose, and the game is pretty self-explanatory.  It is like the original game “Simon.”  The game is also lightweight and includes the batteries required.

I love that Bop It! XT has three volume options, as the sounds can get a little annoying after hearing it over and over, as well as a headphone jack!  I haven’t tried Group Play yet but it seems like party mode could be pretty fun!
