MY THOUGHTS:

While I don’t really exercise, I was looking for a durable headset for driving and walking around the neighborhood with my kids.  I had tried other headsets before and I was curious to try out the Jabra Sport because it went in both ears.  Being able to hear in both ears is like surround sound and I feel I can definitely hear conversations better.  Opening up the packaging the first thing I had to do was charge it and then “pair” it with my cell phones bluetooth.  Pairing it was super easy and my cell phone found it right away.  The headset even talks to you and says it its on and such.  Even if you are technology-clueless I think this would be easy to use!

Once set up I of course called my mom to see how I sounded.  She did say I sounded somewhat on speaker-phone but otherwise it was fine.  On my end I heard her crystal clear.  Getting the headset to fit me was somewhat of a challenge, as I have small ears I guess, but once I figured out the right combination of ear gel cushions and position, I was set.  Its funny too because the headset cord and headset itself is covered by my hair so it looks like I’m talking to myself.  My husband is actually anxious to try this out while he runs on our treadmill, but of course he hasn’t had the chance yet.

There is also an app called Endomondo Sports Tracker App that can be used in conjunction with the Jabra Sport to track route, distance, duration, split times, calorie consumption and more while providing audio feedback on your performance.  So with the Jabra Sport you can press the Play button to get a status update of your workout read aloud through the headset.

That is where you charge it:

Overall, I like the Jabra Sport.  It was super easy to set up and use, my own qualm being that it takes me awhile to get it just right in my ears.  I do think my small ears are the problem as my husband seems fine with it.  The sound quality is great on my end and as long as my phone is within reach it works (I was actually able to cook in my kitchen with my phone laying on the counter.) I also like that it is two pieces with a cord attaching them because honestly it is harder for me to loose something this big!  Oh and the charger has a very short cord but it does the job.

BUY IT:  Look for the Jabra Sport at your local mass retailer for a suggested retail price of $99.99 or buy directly from Jabra.
