My husband doesn’t cook too much but when he does, he makes a huge mess. He leaves things out and thrown all over the kitchen, and it drives me crazy! Nothing drives me more crazy though than dirty dishes forgotten about or needing to be soaked overnight. I know I should be appreciative that he is taking the initiative to cook, but it just makes so much more work for me to clean up everything.
So normally I would soak the dish overnight and in the morning try to clean it first thing before the other kitchen dishes start to pile up. I really try to have the kitchen cleaned before bed, especially of dirty dishes.
So when I got the chance to try out new Dawn Power Clean I admit I was skeptical that it could really do the job in five minutes. Dawn Power Clean features micro-scrubbing enzymes that cleans everyday grease to those tough lasagna dishes. Being able to get my dirty dishes cleaned before bed and knowing that there will be no crusty dishes left behind.
So the other night we had Enchilada Bake which left crusted on tomatoes and cheese in my glass baking dish. I will say when cheese crusts on, it really crusts on. I squirted a few drops of Dawn Power Clean and went about cleaning the rest of the kitchen. By the time I was down, I set about to scrub my dish. To my surprise it was absolutely amazing how Dawn pulled up the dirt in just minutes! I didn’t even have to use my heavy duty scrubber, but rather I scrubbed the dish with a simple sponge. It cut through the grease and food with no problems and it was so nice to not have to clean the dish the next morning. There have even been times that after an all-night soak session the dishes still didn’t come clean, but I have faith that Dawn will not fail on me! I am especially looking forward to trying Power Clean on my slow cooker as that gets pretty bad when I cook.
Overall, I am impressed with new Dawn Power Clean and love the time it saves me. No more scrubbing until my arm hurts or washing day-old dishes that needed overnight soaking. I feel too that if it can cut through my Enchilada Bake then it can cut through any of my dishes.
