ABOUT:
Pirates Dinner Adventure is the world’s most interactive dinner show. Swashbuckling adventure awaits you in Orlando, Florida and Buena Park, California!
MY THOUGHTS:
I have seen dinner shows before, but honestly Pirate’s Dinner Adventure was amazing! It started off a little slow but then they involved pretty much the entire audience! Women were chosen to raise the flags, yes that would be me, men moved stuff and kids got to dress up like soldiers and shoot the bad pirate! It was so exciting to see the action and when my kids were able to take part in the show, that just made my day (and theirs!)
The Pirate’s Dinner Adventure show is a dinner show where you are served your dinner while you watch a show. The stage for this show is surround completely by water and then the audience. The ship was truly amazing to look at and the characters were all decked out in appropriate costumes.
Girl hanging and performing up high:
We arrived an hour early for the show since seats are first come first serve, although I don’t think there are really bad seats. I will say that it is hard not to upgrade for the show. You can upgrade to VIP to be in a private lounge with appetizers and priority seating or you can upgrade your meals. Before the show there is also some entertainment until the main show starts.
Port of Call Feast (included):
Upgrades include Filet Mignon Salmon and more! My husband upgraded to Salmon and I chose Filet Mignon. While the included meal sounded good, I love that we had options to change it up. They also have vegetarian and Kid’s Meals (chicken fingers) available. The food for us was okay, but the show more than made up for it. In Chicago we have Medieval Times and while we love that show, there is not really an interactive part to it other than cheering on your knight. Also, the show is more on the expensive side by they do have great promotions and offers on their website.
For some reason I only took a picture of dessert:
Finally, after the show there is the Buccaneer Bash. Meet the crew and dance the night away. It was nice not to get shoved out the door right away and wind down with some music! Overall, my family and I (my boys are 3 and 5) had a great time. Just keep in mind too about the available upgrades as they can add up if you get sucked in! The show was a great last night for us in Orlando, Florida.
