MY THOUGHTS:

Since my Olivia is not only my last baby but also a girl, I am really going all out with girly stuff for her.  It doesn’t help that for the last five years I have bought nothing but blue items for my boys so pink and girly is a nice change.  I have been scouring the internet for those adorable pettiskirts, tutus and cute hairbows, but I have yet to buy anything because the prices everywhere are so expensive!  I wouldn’t mind a lot for something I will get use out of but kids grow out of clothes so fast and really how often do they get dressed up.

The Hair Bow Company is seriously my new favorite store.  They have the most adorable items and at prices that I did a double take on.  I mean pettiskirts and tutus starting at $3.50 and less than $20 – those prices are so much cheaper than I could find anywhere else.  So then I was worried about quality, since you get what you pay for, but I bit my words on that too – the quality is fabulous!

I got the chance to check out a few items and my daughter looked like such a little princess.  My only problem now is that since the prices are so reasonable I want to buy a whole closet full!

I got a petti skirt with matching petti tank and hairbows.  I couldn’t wait to get Olivia in the outfit and honestly it is so cute I put it on her just to wear around the house.  The outfit is handwash only which I didn’t have a problem with even when it got stained with watermelon (yes watermelon is a nasty stain to remove.)  I soaked it and gently washed it and all the items came out great.   The skirt is satin and tulle and the tank is spandex.

Now as far as quality goes I have never seen a real expensive boutique-like pettiskirt but I can imagine this one is not far off.  It looks super cute and is perfect for everyday, holidays or getting your child’s picture taken.  I almost cried with how beautiful Olivia looked.  Oh and the pettiskirt even has an adjustable waistband!  I will say though that I would (and could) not pay $75 and up for an outfit that I will be too afraid for my daughter to wear and damage!  For less than $30 I can get this whole matching outfit and feel good about my daughter wearing it for everyday play or special occasions!
