MY THOUGHTS:
Bamba Ice Cream is a bright and fun game that my boys just keep going back to! It is a simple game where you pick ice cream flavors, toppings and then your ice cream treat. First you pick your six flavors from traditional flavors to silly ones like Anchovy, Robot, Dinosaur, or Princess. There are tons of flavors to pick from and my boys love to mix it up. Next up is the Toppings which also include Pirates, Candy Hearts, Fairy Sparkles, and more! Finally you are ready to Open your Ice Cream Parlor. As a customer you pick which dessert you’d like – I’m partial to the Banana Split. You of course have to pay for your treat so a cash register is up next where you type from 1-9 how much it costs and then have to drag your coins into the register. Now you get the best part – eating your treat!
While the game really is simple, it teaches so much. My boys take turns picking flavors and toppings, they count the coins and recognize their numbers up to 9, are learning to recognize different words and their associations and just be creative in general. The colors are so kid-friendly its hard not to get excited to play! My boys (4 and 5) are seriously addicted to creating different creations through Bamba Ice-Cream. After you are done with Bamba Ice Cream there is another fun game called Bamba Pizza which we will be buying any day now! My boys love to “cook” on the iPad and Bamba makes it fun!
