MY THOUGHTS:
I have had multiple car seats since my first child was born five years ago and I will say they just keep getting nicer and nicer. The Maxi-Cosi Pria 70 is an amazing car seat because it really can be the only car seat you will ever need. You can use it right away from the hospital (as long as your baby is 4lbs.) and as your child grows it adjusts and has padding removed.
The padding I am talking about is the TinyFit System which is an insert that is designed to hold smaller babies and infants (up to 22 lbs.) Once your child is big enough to remove the TinyFit it becomes a regular carseat.

Advanced Side Impact Protection:
I love material first off, it is like a nylon and wipes clean so easily! You can actually remove the fabric and wash it, but I found I could spot clean it effectively. My 1 year old absoultey loves the cup holder and it is perfectly within her reach, although usually she just wants to store her paci in there. It is amazing how it contours around her and snuggles her, she always fall asleep in it and looks so precious in it. The Pria comes in a variety of colors (Red, Black, and Gray) so it should work well to fit in any interior.
Cupholder (or pacifier holder which is what Olivia puts in there):
Setting up the car seat was pretty easy. We just made sure it was configured to Olivia’s size and used the LATCH system which luckily my new car has (my old car didn’t.) My husband had it in the car and ready to go in about 15 minutes. The stickers and color-coding on the sides make it very intuitive to figure out installation. We actually adjusted the harness straps pretty easily too. Olivia is only 18.5 pounds so I decided to keep her in the TinyFit for a little longer.
I took the picture of her in the seat before we installed (too hard to get a good picture in the car!):
Overall, I love our new Maxi-Cosi Pria 70 car seat. It is easy to use, easy to clean, safe and sleek looking. It was also chosen as a top ten product of 2011 by Pregnancy & Newborn magazine.
