So while at BlogHer a few weeks ago, one of my favorite parties (one I’ve been to for three years now) is The Big Toy Books Sweet Suite event. It started out as a small hotel room party and now has grown to a huge few room space. The party features different brands all around the room where you can connect with representatives and check out new products, there is usually fun activities to do too! I met so many great brands that I hope to feature in the coming months as there are so cool products coming out like new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Nukotoys iPad app and trading cards, Legos, new bigger Hexbugs, Ben10, Power Rangers, Jakks Pacific, Tomy, Skylanders, Imperial and more! Sorry I don’t remember too much of the girl stuff since my baby girl is only 1.
I unfortunately didn’t get too much time in there since my time slot was 9:30 and it closed at 10, so I literally power walked the room and talked to as many people as possible! Once spot I wish I could have spent more time at was the Xbox Kinect area. My boys are 4 and 5 and just getting into video games and I think they would really get a kick out of Kinect!
Some things I may have learned if I got to hang out in the Xbox Sweet Suite Lounge longer:
Overall, I had a blast, as usual, partying it up in the Sweet Suite loung and hopefully I had made some lasting relationships with brands. Either way I got to check out some cool products, some before they were even in stores!
