Cherishing My Baby Girl & Preserving Her Clothes #dreftlaundry

With my boys I received no hand-me downs so all their clothes were only worn by them and then stored away, you know just in case. Whether it be for us having another child or to save until they are older, I’m not sure but I realized I probably don’t need to save them all. Well with my baby girl I was fortunate to receive hand-me downs, but I of course have some items I received as gifts or purchased myself that I want to hang onto. Something too is that Olivia may appreciate having some of her own baby clothes when she’s older (and maybe having her own children) so I am trying hard to take care of her items and preserve those pieces.

Dreft is a detergent I trusted with my first child and still trust now on my third. To me its just a given that I will use Dreft for the first two years of their life. It leaves clothes smelling clean, is gentle on the fabric, and is perfect for baby’s sensitive skin. I mean it has been trusted by moms for more than 75 years and is the #1 choice of Pediatricians for being both gentle on baby’s skin and tough on stains.

Some Dreft facts:

  • Safe for the entire family

  • Recommended by pediatricians more than any other laundry detergent

  • Can be used for the first 18 months to 2 years

  • Dreft does not make a dryer sheet and it cautions against fabric softener in children’s sleepwear or other garments labeled as flame resistant as it may reduce flame resistance.

Since I am going to put aside some of Olivia’s clothes, I of course want them to last. I mean whats the point of storing clothes only to open them years later and they are stained or fallen apart.

This is one outfit of Olivia’s that I bought pretty much just to take this picture in, but it is my absolute favorite. It reminds me of innocence, laughter, sweetness, and how precious little girls are. I washed it in Dreft and it was perfect on her skin and it was gentle on the fabric, exactly what I needed.   I hope to keep this outfit preserved to give to her when she gets older.

Whether you’re a first timer or the greatest, grandest mother of them all, there’s on thing moms have agreed on for over 75 years- Dreft makes your little one’s fabric feel as clean and soft as can be.  Is there a special outfit you have saved or plan to from your child?

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Dreft. As a part of this program I received the product, the opinions and text are all mine.
