A few weeks ago I got the chance to attend my second Kenmore Blogger Summit here in Chicago. What is the Kenmore Summit you may be wondering? Well it was a two day somewhat-conference all about Kenmore.
The event started out with my quick drive into the city and then checked in at Hotel Felix. At about 6:30, me and about 30 other bloggers walked the two blocks to the Kenmore Live Studios for dinner. We were treated to a dinner reception hosted by Jeremy Levin, Chef and founder of the Tuesday Night Dinner and underground supper club in Chicago. Basically we had the chance to mingle with other bloggers, walk around and check out all the Kenmore products, and most importantly eat some good food.
Before we left for the night though we heard about our agenda for the following day and five team leaders were picked from recipes submitted before the event. Those five team leaders then picked bloggers to be on their team – yes it was like junior high were you hope you were not picked last. My team’s name was Team Arugula, because that was one of the secret ingredients in the meal the five team leaders had to figure out in order to see who would pick first!
Finally, I went back to the hotel and crashed. I knew I had a long, long day ahead of me.
